The Centre for Professional and Distance Education was created in 2001 to reach out
to students in our different institutions and also those in other institutions. Distance
learning methods, was one of the objectives and it will become one of the main windows
of information and learning when a self financing/autonomous university of SIES comes
into place. The facilities for distance learning are being investigated and it shall be
the endeavour of CPDE to reach out to as many students as possible globally.
